On 18 May 2023, Tashkent, Uzbekistan will host the second international forum 'Application of best practices to reduce poverty'. Experts, including Abhijit Banerjee, co-founder and co-director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will review the best practices for fighting poverty and the effectiveness of Uzbekistan’s achievements in terms of reducing domestic poverty through its state policy, with a view to further disseminating learnings with developing countries.
