The pulse of ethical machine learning in health with Marzyeh Ghassemi

Marzyeh Ghassemi, a 2022-23 MIT Jameel Clinic principal investigator, will lead an event titled, 'The pulse of ethical machine learning in health' as part of the annual Cambridge Science Festival's Lunch & Learn series.

Marzyeh's work is centered on medical machine learning bias. Healthy ML, her research group, examines AI's perpetuation of human bias and historical inequities, and works towards developing intelligently designed approaches that advance equity in science and health.

The event will take place on 28 September 2023 at 12h00 EST in the Star Room at the Stata Center at the MIT Jameel Clinic in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is free and open to the public.
