Gustavo Bobonis is a professor of economics at the University of Toronto and an Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) affiliate. Gustavo is a J-PAL North America inaugural evidence research champion. His research focuses on development economics, political economy and labour economics. Gustavo received his PhD in economics from the University of California, Berkely.
