Joanna Kacperek is a pianist and has performed in major concert halls in her native Poland and abroad, including the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Norway, Russia, Ukraine, Canada and Japan. She graduated from the Royal College of Music (RCM) in London in the class of Norma Fisher, as a recipient of the C Bechstein and the Zetland Foundation scholarships.
As soloist she was recently awarded special prize at the International Edvard Grieg Piano Competition in Bergen and was a finalist of the Royal Over-Seas League Competition 2022. As a passionate collaborator, she has performed alongside Clara Barbier Serrano, 2019 Andrea Bocelli Foundation x Community Jameel Scholar and fellow RCM alum. She won the Pianist Prize at Lies Askonas Competition 2021, performed as Leeds Lieder Young Artist in 2021, became Oxford Lieder Young Artist for 2022-2023 and won the 2nd International Beethoven Chamber Music Competition in 2017. She also represented Poland at the Kyoto International Students Festival in Japan.
