Marc Gurgand is the scientific director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) Europe and scientific coordinator of J-PAL Europe's 'Innovation, data and experiments in education' (IDEE) programme. He is also a senior researcher at the National Centre for Scientific Research and a professor at the Paris School of Economics.
