A new way to swiftly eliminate micropollutants from water

Patrick Doyle is the Robert T Haslam Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2022, he won the Abdul Latif Jameel Water and Food Systems Lab (J-WAFS) Solutions Grant which awarded his research team USD 150K to scale up and commercialise an innovative system to tackle water pollution. His project involves a novel use of reusable, sustainable hydrogel microparticles to remove micropollutants from water.
