The Jameel Institute Realtime Intelligent Support for Emergencies (Jameel Institute-RISE), developed by the Jameel Institute at Imperial College London and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, delivers critical modelling and data—including on traumatic injuries, malnutrition, mortality and vaccination planning—to help humanitarian organisations and policymakers in crises effectively prioritise aid response.
Deployed initially in Gaza and Sudan and with the potential to operate worldwide, Jameel Institute-RISE generates foundational research and state-of-the-art tools that define how to quantify the health impacts of crises and, crucially, inform effective responses to alleviate suffering.
Jameel Institute-RISE delivers a public-facing vaccination planner and a practical toolkit for governments and international agencies to measure, track and prioritise effective aid responses that can save thousands of lives during crises.
