Bab Rizq Jameel provides 15 thousand job opportunities
Bab Rizq Jameel Recruitment, one of Community Jameel initiatives, announced the number of job opportunities provided during the first nine months of 2020. Through its website and communication channels, the initiative managed to provide around 15,000 job opportunities, with male recruitment accounting for 96.53%. The highest percentage of jobs were recorded in the field of orders delivery via electronic platforms during the lockdown.
Various programmes were launched in this regard. Tahseen aims to support young people with seasonal and temporary job opportunities that help them earn additional income. The programme managed to provide 12,730 jobs for females and males during the first nine months of the year. This was followed by Tawteen, a programme that strives to provide companies with qualified human resources to help them implement ministerial decisions on the Saudisation of jobs, helped in providing 1,159 job opportunities for qualified Saudi workforce. Tayseer is yet another programme that helps young people gain experience in various flexible fields, hence, making use of their time and increasing their income. The programme provided 790 jobs.
While results were observed all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the highest number of job opportunities (2807) was recorded in Jeddah, followed by Makkah (2309), Abha (1438), Taif (1211), Dammam (1151) and Riyadh (970). Delivery agents were the highest in demand in these cities.
On the occasion of announcing the results, Rola Basamad, Senior General Manager of Bab Rizq Jameel Recruitment, said: “The year 2020 is undoubtedly exceptional, but the global health crisis has shown that we are able to adapt to the current situation and address many work challenges and obstacles. Bab Rizq Jameel Recruitment has recently enhanced its programmes by launching Takatuf (employing Saudis for others) to help companies recruit people by contracting Bab Rizq Jameel to hire qualified Saudi workforce on their behalf”.
“Hundreds of jobs were provided to Saudi men and women in various domains including management of call centers and facilities such as restaurants and trade fairs, operation of factories and production lines as well as maintenance. The programme also provides legal services such as contract drafting as well as human resources and personnel affairs services", she added.
It is worth mentioning that since its establishment in 2005, Bab Rizq Jameel Recruitment has helped provide more than 331,000 job opportunities for Saudi young men and women and has served companies in more than 110 Saudi cities.
