Climate change, lengthening life expectancies, and sedentary lifestyles are impacting hospitals and public health sectors across the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia (MENASA). The rise of AI in health presents a powerful opportunity to tackle these challenges and enable better patient outcomes. The MIT Jameel Clinic, the Saudi Ministry of Health, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center, and Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University are coming together in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to host AI Cures • MENASA 2023, a one-day event which aims to address obstacles and find a way forward for AI in health in the MENASA region.
Taking place on 19 December 2023, AI Cures • MENASA 2023 convenes researchers, health industry leaders, government partners and donors to discuss trends and advancements in AI, data and challenges and opportunities in the region, through a series of keynote sessions and panel discussions.
