Community Jameel

The Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo celebrates the 119th anniversary of its opening. The celebration included the holding of an exhibition, 'Our journey: 119 years of civilisation and creativity', which featured the heritage projects of students from the Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo whose works were all inspired by Islamic arts and traditional craft techniques, such as ceramics, woodwork, gypsum and glass.
