
CAIRO, EGYPT | 1 DECEMBER 2025 – The Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo, an educational institute which aims to preserve and champion Egypt’s oldest crafts and heritage, announced today that its annual winter art fair will open on 4 December 2025 at 6 pm at the Goethe-Institut Kairo.
With works by more than 55 participating artists, designers and craftspeople – all alumni of the Jameel House in Cairo – the fair will feature over 300 works for sale, including jewellery, tableware, home décor, seasonal winter gifts, ceramics, brass and gypsum.
The winter art fair is hosted this year by the Goethe-Institut Kairo in the Villa Bustan, 5 Al Bustan Street, Downtown Cairo.
A panel discussion on the creative industries, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Kairo, will take place on 5 December at 7 pm, featuring:
Dr Mamdouh Sakr, programme manager at the Jameel House in Cairo, said: "We are so pleased that the Jameel House in Cairo’s winter fair is becoming an annual tradition that many alumni look forward to participating in.
“The winter fair is a great opportunity for our alumni to present their work and engage with the public, while showcasing their creativity, precision and contemporary approach to traditional arts.”
The winter art fair is free and open to the public daily from 12 to 9 pm, from 5 to 8 December.
