The Cultural Development Fund of Egypt and The Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts in London has announced the open call to apply for the Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo diploma programme. The Jameel House was launched in 2009 and is a collaboration between The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts, Community Jameel, and the Cultural Development Fund of Egypt. Now in its 15th year, the diploma programme at the Jameel House, based in Fustat, historic Cairo, trains students over a period of two years in traditional Islamic craft techniques and disciplines including wood veneer, stained glass, copper and ceramics. The programme is developed and delivered by The Prince’s Foundation School according to the same principles and standards as the courses at the London campus. Applications are open until 24 August 2023.
