CGIAR reports on a session from its 2025 Science Week, hosted at the United Nations headquarters in Nairobi, and featuring members of the Jameel Observatory for Food Security Early Action (JO-FSEA).
Tahira Mohamed and Samuel Derbyshire, fellows at the JO-FSEA, gave presentations focusing on early actions to support pastoralism in recurrent and protracted crises in the Horn of Africa.
Community Jameel and CGIAR also co-hosted a reception on the sidelines of the CGIAR Science Week, which highlighted the importance of testing and scaling innovations, including agricultural technologies, to tackle food insecurity.
