The MIT Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) has announced the addition of educational institute Anjuman-I-Islam to its membership network. Established in 1874, Anjuman-I-Islam is one of India’s oldest and most prestigious educational and social organisations, operating more than 80 educational institutions from pre-primary to postgraduate levels. The collaboration with J-WEL aims to leverage MIT expertise and resources to promote educational excellence, innovation and social impact across all educational institutions affiliated with Anjuman-I-Islam, and is particularly focused on higher education institutions under Anjuman-I-Islam’s management, specifically the Kalsekar Technical Campus. The two organisations will work together to develop and disseminate practical and effective solutions that advance educational practices and help learners achieve in a rapidly changing world.
