The MIT Jameel Clinic introduced a new, non-invasive artificial intelligence (AI) tool that can predict a patient’s risk of developing heart disease with gold-standard accuracy, reports MIT News.
Collin Stultz (MIT Jameel Clinic), senior author of a paper on the new tool published in Nature Communications Medicine, adds: “In my view, the real promise of AI in healthcare is to provide equitable, state-of-the-art care to everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status, background and where they live. This work is one step towards realising this goal.”
