Launched in 2020 by theMassachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) school of engineering and Takeda Pharamceuticals, the MIT-Takeda Programme leverages the experience of both entities to solve problems at the intersection of healthcare, medicine and artificial intelligence (AI). In its fourth year, the programme supports 10 teams in its second round of projects which span bio-pharmacy, from drug development to commercial and manufacturing. The MIT-Takeda Programme is part of the Abdul Latif Jameel Clinic for Machine Learning in Health.
