But what is the importance of food and cooking in the lives of some of the world's leading thinkers? In this article, several Nobel laureates, including Abhijit Banerjee and Esther Duflo, co-founders and co-directors of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), share their love for cooking and how it has influenced their lives and work to alleviate global poverty.
