Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) and the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) have announced a five-year, USD 10 million grant from the IKEA Foundation in support of research on the effectiveness of livelihood programmes for refugee and displaced populations and their host communities. Part of J-PAL's Displaced Livelihoods Initiative, the fund is the first of its kind and will help IPA and J-PAL generate data to inform policy makers and practitioners as they design evidence-based policies and programmes that aim to support displaced people to create sustainable livelihoods and achieve self-reliance.
